A technologist, educator and artist, Eneritz Tejada’s work always returns to one place: where art and technology meet the body. Using sculpture, code, video and choreography, her work - which embraces performance and installation pieces - redraws the relationship between physical bodies and technological materials.
In 2019, she founded Blinding Universe, an interdisciplinary network that acts as a nexus for her work with wearable technology. Her wearables are more than just ornaments - they collect data and react in real-time to user’s movements, creating a dialogue between performer and the technology. This idea of technology as a system of sensitive, tactile relationships, rather than just tools or gadgets, is central to everything she does.
At Sónar+D, we’ve invited her to bring a dancer and a selection of wearables with her, for a live demonstration and lecture that shows exactly how code, hardware, and human movement can be used to create music and performance in real-time.
