The next-generation junglist takes things to the next level with a brand-new live show

Producer, singer, songwriter, visual artist, DJ... Nia Archives does it all. Still only 26 years old, she’s the face of an entirely new generation of jungle.

Growing up in the North of England, she started listening to jungle - as well as dub, reggae, dancehall and UK hip hop - with her grandmother. Now, she’s reinventing the genre, bringing it a wider audience without compromising on her DIY principles.  After breaking through with her debut EP Forbidden Feelingz and then finding her voice on Sunrise Bang Ur Head Against tha Wall she delivered her debut album Silence Is Loud an emotional blend of amen breaks, lyrical soul-searching and r&b hooks. Her voice is the key ingredient – that same down-to-earth, yet technically brilliant tone that Amy Winehouse found – but her production remains as sharp and clean as ever, a throwback to jazz-obsessed 90s producers.

For Sónar 2026, she’s preparing a brand-new live show, with the promise of more new music due out early next year.
