Twenty ‘hackers’ selected via open call have worked side-by-side for three days inside the AI Performance Playground, exploring the possibilities (and the boundaries) of co-creativity between humans and artificial intelligence in the field of music and sound. The presentation that concludes this intensive residency is its live materialisation.
At a time of accelerated transformation, artists who want to push the limits of these tools cannot simply use them: they must think beyond established frameworks and critically question them. Issues such as data governance, process transparency, or the power that comes with designing one’s own hardware and software cannot be ignored.
This presentation stages the outcome of a collective process based on experimentation, exchange, and productive friction between humans and machines - an invitation to witness the practice of co-creativity in real-time.
