From New York, Aurora Halal has shaped her own psychedelic take on techno, fluid yet precise, combining dark sensuality, emotional depth and an almost playful edge. She’s also a cornerstone of the New York underground, thanks to Sustain-Release, the festival she founded 10 years ago, and Mutual Dreaming, her influential party series, always self-run and community-organised.

Although she’s best known for her DJ sets, at Sónar 2027 she’ll be presenting one of her rare hardware live sets. A unique chance to see her in action surrounded by all her analogue gear.
