It all started with Donna Summer for Mousse T. The future German superproducer heard ‘I Feel Love’ while still a teenager and knew that he had to make music.
That kick-started a career that’s taken him from playing keyboards for a funk band to crafting one of the 90s most enduring earworms (sorry, but we have to mention Horny ‘98), collaborating with his mum’s favourite singer Tom Jones, and remixing and producing just about everyone around from his studio complex in Hannover.
He’s the rare artist who’s been able to balance commercial success with dedication to his craft. A musician before he was a producer and a DJ, musicality courses through his work: sultry, unashamedly funky house that’s rooted in jazz, soul and disco.
A world-class remixer - he’s added extra dancefloor heat to everyone from Horse Meat Disco and Mike Dunn to Kylie Minogue and Simply Red - he’s always got a bunch of his own personal edits, flips and reworks in his record bag.
We’re expecting him to pull his deepest, funkiest cuts out for the Glitterbox Takeover on Saturday at Sónar 2026.
