SonarHall, now relocated in a new space inside Fira Gran Via, is a parallel universe within the festival. Featuring six speakers located around venue, it offers quadrophonic sound, with performances that alternate between each end of the room. This new version of SonarHall is still where you’ll find experimental shows and performances that demand close - aural and visual - attention, but the upgraded design means we can now switch the venue from concert hall to club in a matter of minutes, allowing us to programme live shows and DJ sets in the same space with almost no changeover time.

Enveloped by the famed red curtains, this year the stage welcomes the festival’s most experimental live acts, while the booth on the floor at the back of the venue features some of the most open-minded and innovative DJs on the lineup. And on Friday and Saturday night, SonarHall transforms into a late-night, intimate club with takeovers curated by BULTO and Glitterbox.
