For security reasons, we don’t allow the following items into Sónar by Day and Sónar by Night:
- aerosols
- suitcases, bags, and rucksacks that are larger than 40x20x25cm or whose capacity exceeds 20 litres
- electric scooters, bicycles, skateboards, or other personal transportation devices
- professional cameras and lenses
- food and drink (with the exception of the items you’ll find here)
- bottles or canteens (even if they’re empty)
- drones
- laser pens
- selfie sticks
- sharp objects
- helium balloons or other items that may impede the visibility of the performances
- glass objects
You may enter the venue with smaller-sized objects, including bags and rucksacks measuring 40x20x25cm or less, providing their capacity is less than 20 litres. You can also take motorcycle helmets into the venues, but they must be stored in the lockers (see below). If you can’t find a locker that fits your helmet, you’ll be allowed to leave it in the VIP cloakroom (at Sónar by Day) or in the helmet storage room (at Sónar by Night), for a cost of €6. (Of course, if you have a VIP ticket, the VIP cloakroom is free of charge.)
This year, we’ve introduced lockers at both Sónar by Day and Sónar by Night so you can leave your belongings in a secure location while you enjoy concerts, DJ sets, and other activities. You can also reserve a locker in advance for any of the sessions, find out how here.
Both the lockers and the VIP cloakroom at Sónar by Day and Sónar by Night are open throughout Sónar 2024, from when doors open until close.
A note: if you’ve kept your Sónar 2023 cup, we encourage you to bring it this year and reuse it.
