At Sónar 2024, we’re once again offering you a diverse variety of different options for eating, suitable for all tastes and dietary requirements. This year we’ve selected various different high-quality restaurants and kitchens, with local and organic meat and vegetables, cuisine from around the world, entirely plant-based menus, all made with fresh, natural ingredients. 

This year SonarVIP by Red Bull hosts Fantástika de Bacaro, one of Barcelona’s leading Italian restaurants. Serving Venetian-style Cucina della nonna with a sophisticated edge, it’s suitable for all tastes and diets, and perfectly represents the spirit of Sónar. Don’t forget to try their signature dish: Piatto Veneziano del Bacaro, with sardines “en Saor” and  Bacalà Mantecato (salted-cod mousse). 

Also inside SonarVIP by Red Bull, sample a selection of cheeses from farmers associated with the Ramats de Foc initiative, and specialty coffee by Three Marks Coffee.  

Inside Sónar+D, you’ll have two different options for food: the Lounge Bar and the Bistrot & Wine Bar.

 

This year at Lounge Bar we’ve invited Lady Babka, a famed local bakery and delicatessen. They’ll be serving speciality coffee, alongside tasty sandwiches and salads. Over at the Bistrot & Wine Bar, we invite you to sample the delights of the Middle East, courtesy of Barcelona Middle-Eastern bistrot, Silan. 

The Food Market in Sónar by Day includes a variety of options for all tastes and diets. It’s located in  

an air-conditioned and covered area, so you can relax away from the heat while you eat.

This year, we’ve invited the following restaurants and kitchens:

• Fileteando: hamburgers and more, made with locally sourced (km0) organic meat;
• Hanna Vegan Food: delicious, 100% vegan food;
• Chuchy Hot Dogs: the ultimate hot dog;
• Mother Wok: Southeast Asian food with a cheeky touch… eat my noodles, motherwokkers!
• Sabor a Pirineo: ‘Huevos rotos’ style eggs from happy chickens, served with fried potatoes and a variety of toppings
• María Una Crep: Artisanal pancakes made with natural ingredients, and creamy icecreams;;
• Hula Poke: The freshest, tastiest poke in Barcelona;
• Panzer8: la pinsa romana… by day and by night;
• Trikini: signature bikinis (toasted sandwiches) for all types of diet;
• Three Marks Coffee: specialty coffee 

In the SonarVIP by Red Bull area located in SonarClub, you can choose between pizzas cooked in Una Pizza FoodTruck’s wood-fired oven, or top-quality hamburgers prepared by Woody. Over at SonarVIP by Red Bull at the back of SonarPub, try one of El Bikini de la Pili’s extra large toasted sandwiches (‘BIGkinis’). In both areas, you’ll also find sweet treats - fruit lollies, natural ice creams, pancakes and waffles - by The Fabulous Luigi’s. 

You’ll also find a Food Market at Sónar by Night, located in the same hall as the SonarCar. Here’s what’s on offer:

• Taco Bell: authentic Tex-Mex flavour, served Californian-style;
• Goiko: Cranking out the best electronic music with the best burgers in town.
• Indi Food Truck: artisanal hot dogs;
• Panzer8: la pinsa romana, by day and by night;
• Indakalma on the road: locally-sourced cuisine;
• La Pulponeta: signature sandwiches;
• Flying Shiitake: original asian cuisine with personality, made in the wok;
• Crepería La Moderna: artisanal pancakes with natural fillings;
• Katze: 100% plant-based smash burgers and chips;
• Chick’s Korea: the best Korean-fried chicken around;
• La Moreneta: burgers made with locally-sourced meat.

The selection of food on offer at Sónar is designed to account for all possible allergies or dietary requirements.

As every year, Estrella Damm is the official beer of Sónar 2024, with standard, gluten-free and alcohol-free options on sale at all bars. At Coca-Cola’s Royal Bliss space, order yourself a special cocktail, or if you’re at Sónar by Night, head to Jack Daniel’s to try their exclusive range of blended drinks. You can also enjoy one of Puerto de Indias’ flavoured gins, or share a round of Jägermeister or Sierra Tequila shots. 

You can also sample the wares of organic Mallorcan winery 4Kilos, with a pair of natural wines made using grape varieties native to the Island, Motor Blanc and Motor Callet. They’ll be available in the Bistrot & Wine Bar, Lounge+D, as well as in all SonarVIP by Red Bull areas at both Sónar by Day and Sónar by Night. 

When you order your first drink, you’ll be charged €1.50 for an official Sónar 2024 cup (50cl). If you’ve kept your cup from Sónar 2023, we encourage you to bring it with you! 

This cup is reusable and 100% recyclable, thanks to an internal circular business process which we’ve established in collaboration with Estrella Damm. You can use the cup as many times as you like, or, if you prefer, change it for a new one at any bar. Keep hold of it: if you lose it, you’ll need to buy a new one. 

When you exit the festival for the last time, if you don’t want to keep your cup, we ask you to leave it in the containers located by the exit. This helps support a circular business process, as we’ll recover all used cups after the festival and use them to make new ones with our partners Ecogots.

The Sónar 2024 cup is made in Catalonia with leftover husks from rice grown in the Delta del Ebro. A small percentage of PP plastic is added to strengthen the cup. The manufacturing process generates 72% less CO emissions when compared to a standard manufacturing process. Find out more about the cup and how it’s made here.

We kindly remind you that we don’t allow food and drink to be brought into the venues at Sónar by Day or Sónar by Night.

At Sónar by Day, we make an exception for food and drink for children between 0 and 3 years old (e.g. powdered milk, baby food [provided it’s not in a glass jar or container], fresh fruit or vegetables, juices, cheese portions or yoghurts.
